Root & Rail is a Philadelphia-based woodworking studio creating unique, hand crafted, furniture. The goal of every piece is to not only look amazing, but elevate its surroundings.

I started building furniture because I love to create. As an art form, wood working is unique and special in that it can be beautiful and expressive while still serving a purpose in the spaces we live the most.

I’m drawn to wooden furniture specifically because no two pieces are ever truly the same. Every tree carries its own color, grain, movement, and character, giving every piece of furniture the opportunity to be something unique. Root & Rail is my way of bringing those natural qualities together to create furniture that is both beautiful and functional.
